Advertising and affiliate disclosure

DFWFarmersMarkets.com is a free directory for shoppers. We make money from market organizers who pay for tools to manage their own listing. We do not sell search rankings, we do not charge vendors, and anything we are paid to show you is labeled as such.

As of August 26, 2026 there are no paid placements on this site, no sponsored articles, and no affiliate links anywhere on it. If you are reading this and cannot find an ad, that is why. This page gets updated in the same change that introduces any of them.

Market organizers can pay for a plan that lets them manage their own listing, keep hours and season dates current, and reach vendors looking for a market to sell at. Those plans are Market Plus and Market Growth.

Paying for a plan does not buy a better position in search results. It buys control of your own listing and access to vendors.

Farmers, bakers, makers, and food vendors are listed free. We do not charge them to appear here, to be linked from a market page, or to be contacted through this site. If that ever changes we will say so on this page before it takes effect, and it will not be applied retroactively.

If we ever sell a placement, every one of them will:

• carry a visible Featured or Sponsored label on the unit itself, not buried in a footnote
• show the date the placement starts and the date it ends, so it is clear what was promoted and over what period
• be separated from ordinary directory results rather than mixed into them unmarked
• never change the order of unpaid listings around it

Search results, city pages, and day filters are ordered by the same rules for every market, whether they pay us or not. A market that has never given us a cent can and does outrank a paying one. We will not take money to change that, because a directory that sells its order stops being useful to the shoppers it exists for.

Our blog posts, seasonal guides, and market write ups are not for sale as advertising. When we cover a market it is because it is worth covering. If a piece of content is ever paid for or sponsored, it will be labeled Sponsored at the top before you read it.

We do not currently use affiliate links. If we add any, they will be disclosed on the page where they appear and listed here. An affiliate link means we may earn a commission if you buy something after clicking it, at no extra cost to you. It would never affect which markets we list or how we order them.

Market details come from organizers, official city and chamber sources, and our own checks. Where a listing shows an "Information verified" date, that is the day we last confirmed it against a primary source. Hours and season dates do change, and we would always rather you confirm with the market before a long drive.
